Annual Guides Hangout 2008

Finally again its time for our annual Girl Guides meet. Usually we wld meet in late Nov or early Dec, kinda like to celebrate Ms Khoo’s bday. This year was almost complete again BUT Hansy was still in Perth so she couldnt come and hang out.

A good location this year, Ang Mo Kio. ahhaa.. near home. We got to eat sushi! Yum Yum… It was kinda squeezy as me, Rongshan aka Shansy, Yiting & Juan were all seated on one bench. hahaha…

It’s always sooo much fun hanging out wif everybody again. Ping as usual was so lively, crackin lame jokes. haha..

Sat at the sushi place for quite a while before hanging out in Macdonalds to chill.

Ahhhh i really miss them. We were juz chatting abt the old times. Those were the gd days nei.. haha. Guess we’ll have to wait for next yr’s hangout again!

Xiaoping’s 21st Bday!

After graduation, i went over to J8.. was a little early so walked a little bit and den juz nice bumped into Ms Khoo and XiangXiang.. and also soon after Juan and Yiting.. Damn thirsty so headed to NTUC to buy drinks.. even though we were like kinda late.. haha… Rongshan aka Shansy said that she wld meet us at Ping’s Chalet which was at East Coast Parkway Chalet.. All of us had no clue where it was… haha..

Went to the interchange and got on a bus that we tot wld be right.. haha.. as i said.. we had no idea where it was.. haha…  It was a long bus ride.. and the stupid nabei driver..bloody lousy driver.. he kept jerking.. i tot i was goin to barf on him after 3 stops.. nabei…

Anyway we got off at a stop to take another bus that wld lead us into the chalet.. the notice board there said the bus wld come at like 7.35pm… BUTTTTTT we waited like idiots for it.. it was like prob nearly 8pm when the bus came.. YOUR LATE!!!!!!! We were planning to reach there at 7pm but haha.. oh well.. Shansy had already reached there and kept msgin us.. oops.. sorry Shansy!!!!

Finally we reached BUT we still had to walk a distance.. OMG sia… haha.. and finally we spotted a wavy Shansy at the windows and she ran out to greet us.. HAHA.. she said she was the 1st one to arrive! haha…

Saw some familiar faces.. Caleb and Ronald.. yandao ya!! haha…

It was burning hot there! wahhhh we were like melting… ahha… anyway we juz spent our time chatting as usual… And of coz.. things got weird when u noe who came…. haizz… oh well…

But ya Ping’s bday cake was huge man! haha.. cld c that she was havin lots of fun! Jia You ya Ping! Stay strong!!!!

After all that, we were goin to go home, but went upside to kinda chill in the aircon for a while.. haha… hot sia.. den Shansy told us the bed bug story.. ohhh gross man.. seriously my life wil nv be the same again! haha….

And den we decided to take a cab back coz there weren’t any buses left.. it was like prob 11pm plus.. so Ms Khoo, Xiangxiang & Yiting took one cab and me, Juan and Shansy took another… as we were walking out we saw one in the carpark.. we told Ms Khoo to take it 1st.. ahha… thats us trying to be all nice and brave.. ahha… den the 3 of us walked to the main road.. where there were alot of other ppl trying to flag down a cab too.. there were 2 ppl in front of us.. and a few behind us… there were cabs but they juz didnt stop when we tried flagging them down.. WAT THE HELL SIA!!!!

Den the guys behind us got frustrated i guess, den started walking in front of us and also in front of the 2 ppl in front of us.. wah nabei sia… we were damn pissed off.. BUT lady luck was smiling down at us…

A cab came, ppl in front waved but it didnt stop, we waved and IT STOPPED!!! oh wow! haha… i tink coz we were poor 3 little ladies there all by ourselves..HAHA.. HAHA to the guys who walked in front! AHAHHAHA…

Anyway we had an interesting ride back… we were juz talking and talking… there’s always so much to say when we dunt get to meet up alot u noe..

I reali miss them all!!! Cant wait to hang out wif u all again yah…

Girl Guides Camp 2007

Ahhhh yes.. its been a while since i last attended Guides camp.. haha… no actually i usually did go but juz for one day to kinda talk cok wif my fellow sister guides.. haha… BUT this time i reali stayed over for one nite… So it was 2 days and one nite.. ya ok!! AND I HAD TO SLP IN A TENT.. depression sia.. haha… but it was ok after that…
Anyway i took the earliest bus out..yawn yawn.. haha.. which was the 6.30am bus.. Holy crap it’s been a while since i saw the dark morning sky.. haha.. reali not used to it.. den reached AMK mrt den took to YCK mrt den took 72 to HIHS… i was supposed to reach there by 7am BUT of coz i wld not be able to make it.. haha.. i reached abt nearly 7.30am.. in which i walked VERI fast!! haha…its a long walk to sch frm the interchange sia.. haha… okkkk… den the nice day started out by seeing Rongshan (Shansy), Huijuan (juan jie), Ms Khoo and Yiting…

Anyway we were kinda briefed on wat we had to do and stuff.. seriously i forgot a lot of things.. haha 5years man.. Long time ago sia.. haha… kinda forgot reali juz abt everything.. like u noe, tying ropes, tying scarf, commands.. aiyo so bad sia.. haha… cant even believe i was once company leader.. oh dear.. haha.. anywayMs Khoo was the Camp Chief this year **Clap Clap**…Yiting was Camp Cook,Shansy, Juan and Xiaoping (ping) ,who wld be coming the next day, were the Camp cook assistant…

I was the Leader for the Guides… in which sadly i tink i didnt do swell.. haha… okkk… 1st we had a morning inspection.. the guides had to lay their things on their poncho and let me inspect it.. ahh fun.. i cant believe i used to lay my things like that b4.. it juz suddenly recalled after i was looking and checking the guides stuff.. haha.. Anyway i was given a sheet where i had to minus marks if they put sth wrongly or if their uniform or attire looked like they were a mess…

Ok.. den after that i tink it was flag raising, den followed Shansy they all to the kitchen shed.. IN WHICH the day b4, me and Ms Khoo and the Company Leader helped to build the shed.. OMG nightmare… haha…

It was interesting coz while we were setting up the kitchen.. the Guides were setting up their tents in the field.. aiyo..

This wat it looks like after setting up.. 3 tents and we had one more tent for leaders.

Seriously i kinda felt i came to the wrong camp onli because we had to cook outdoor.. OMG!!! hahah.. so depressing.. we used firewood to cook our meals.. haha.. I will nv ever forget that experience.. haha…at 1st i was reluctant to get my hands dirty by touching the wood or making the fire.. but after a while oh heck it.. haha…I USED TO DO THIS!!! haha.. But i muz say.. haha.. it was reali lots of fun… haha.. Cookin wif Shansy and Juan.. haha.. we made fires so high, or when it was like going to die out.. haha.. den we wld get so nervous abt putting the pot down on top of the fire.. haha… we wld always end up wif smoke getting into our eyes, ash and soot all over us.. and the worst factor.. THE SUN!!! YIKES….. SO HOT!!! HOT!!! HOT!!!! reali melting sia.. the sun was burning our bodies as we cooked.. haha.. sway sia… haha… reali sway.. haha…

Anyway Yiting had to go off early, so it was juz left wif me, Ms Khoo, Juan and Shansy. We reali had lots of fun i tink.. Laughed alot!!! reali alot..and gossip alot too.. hahah.. no surprise.. haha…

At nite.. we had a meeting till abt 12am.. den kinda got hungry..at 1st we wanted to drink the water we had boiled so painstakingly BUT the guides had tot that no one wanted it so threw it away!!! We were like nearly in tears.. haha… So den we decided to order Macdonald.. haha.. hungry sia.. thanks to Sexy for msging me the number.. BUT they said they cld onli come deliver 2hours later.. wat the f***!!!! haha.. so den Shansy and Juan decided to climb the fence and buy Mac at Hougang mall.. funny thing was that they were juz at the front gate when the police suddenly drove by and stopped opp the sch.. AHAHHA.. they quickly hid and called us.. haha..we were in the Guides room at that time.. funny sia.. haha.. den they walked to the backgate which is the side gate actually wanting to climb but they were clever and decided to ask frens who were staying nearby to help to buy.. BUT Mac at Hougang mall closed at 11pm!!! AIYOOOOO!!! haha..

Den Shansy called her older brother Hongbiao to help buy for us.. haha so nice sia.. haha… We waited quite a while.. Wileen (ex-guide) and Esther (current CL) fell aslp in the canteen while waiting.. Ms Khoo and Xiang xiang (Ms Khoo darling) haha also kinda slept on the bench.. while Me, shansy and Juan were awake.. FINALLY!!! Shansy’s bro came.. haha.. he drove to sch delivering our food.. haha.. funny sia coz i knew him, when he was in sec4, i was in sec2.. and he was also a scout so ya. den Shansy re-introduced us..Juan is his fellow scout sister den he said “So big already ah” haha laugh like mad sia.. den intro me, den he say “become prettier already ya”.. ahahah laughed like mad coz he said it in chinese den ya well it’s funny when u hear it not when i type it.. lameass.. haha.. but ya ate our yummy Macdonald.. ahha.. so happy and full.. kaozz. haha..

Everybody went to slp abt 2.30am but i kinda used my com abit so i slept abt 3am on the 1st nite…

Woke up around 6am.. OMG so early sia.. haha.. brush teeth and stuff and went to set up the fire for breakfast.. oh ya although i was a Leader but i spent most of my time in the kitchen to chit chat wif Shansy, Juan and Ms Khoo.. haha…

Wat was so funny that Shansy kinda wanted to think of a name to call us for example like SHE.. haha.. den Shansy tot of JIA.. haha.. J for Juan..I for me..A for Shansy.. so were called JIA.. den we were saying that tml Ping wld come so we added JIAP.. haha.. lame sia.. ahha.. den Ms khoo wanted to join in.. haha.. We were like JIA YU.. haha coz her name is Lihyu.. haha.. like lame.. den she was like y not JIA KHOO.. Hhaha lame sia.. haha.. den it sorta became JIAP KHOO but Shansy tot it was so lame that we decided to become X-MENS..haha wif a S.. haha.. X is Ping, M is Ms khoo, E is me, N is Juan and S is Shansy.. haha lame ass sia….

Oh ya on the 1st day, Shansy and Yiting came back to sch wif the NTUC trolley ahhahaha.. OMG so lame sia.. haha.. coz it was too heavy to carry BUT we returned it the next day when we went to do groccery shoppin at lunch.. haha…

Den finally Xiaoping aka my Ping ping meimei came at 7am plus also back wif Yiting.. haha.. Yeah finally reunited.. haha..Ping came wif braces!!! ahahhah…me and Shansy shared our experience wif her.. haha…
Was so tired in the afternoon that me, Shansy and Juan fell aslp in the canteen wif our arm on the table and sleepin on it.. wahhhh NUMB sia.. OMG.. super numbed when woke up.. den me and Shansy decided go slp in the tent coz at least can lie down.. wat hot like hell but i fell aslp fast coz tired.. haha…i was awoken by Juan’s msg coz she had to go.. haha.. i was drenched in sweat.. OMG!!! SO HOT!!!! SO HOT!!! LIKE Sauna sia…OMG!!! reali hotthat i had to change my t-shirt in the tent.. cldnt take it.. haha HOT!!!! Shansy woke up quite early coz of the heat…

Oh we also played this game called Manito.. where a manito is ur secret pal u write letters to and sign off as your manito.. haha.. i was thinking y everybody already got there letters but i didnt on the 1st day.. den on the 2nd day..Ms Khoo gave Ping the last name to draw.. and i saw GO.. i was like “Ping is that me..”hahah.. she was ya i’m ur manito… haha lame sia.. i cant believe she drew me.. haha.. anyway although u were not supposed to tell ppl who ur manito was but among us leaders ya we told each other.. haha… Shansy had a hard time guessing hers.. haha… Stupid Ping keep sending me love letters.. haha.. yes i loved all of them.. haha so mushy.. ahha ai si ni lah!!! haha..

Ohhh the sch has changed too.. when i grad frm HIHS.. they following year or sth they renovated the sch.. some parts look the same while same look plain diff.. hai memories.. haha.. even the fence in which i onli climb once also changed.. ahha.. i was late for sch at that time so my fren frm my class pushed me up the fence..and the lame thing was that i was the announcer in sch so its obvious i was not there.. haha.. but i juz bluffed my way through.. haha..

Oh and i used a lot of “Nabei” & “Cheebye”hahaha..BUT since i cldnt use too much of it in front of the guides i modified mine to “Na B” and “Chee Hello” or “Chee Hi”.. haha.. but they laughed when i said like Nabei coz they say sounded like a funny word.. ahha slang sia.. haha…

Shansy also said that i kinda changed.. more talkative.. haha.. talk more crap.. haha.. and more “chinese”..haha i used to be veri ang mo one.. always talk in English, listen English music and ya all English.. ahah but now listen more CL songs, speak more Chinese.. den we were also talking abt whether Ms Khoo regrets any Company leader she picked and stuff.. haha.. Me, Juan and Ping were all handpicked by her sia.. haha..

Oh at 1st Ms Khoo jeans had onli one torn part on the right side..but as the 2nd day came dunno y also the left had a torn.. haha.. style sia.. haha..

And then at nite we had a campfire in which we sang songs and stuff.. wahhh its been long time since i last went to one.. used to love goin to campfires.. haha

Den after that i waited for my mum to pick me up..while Shansy left 1st.. oh Shansy.. haha.. reali had lots of great laughter wif ya!!! Reali lots of fun.. and also my Ping, Juan, Ms Khoo.. seriously after this camp..it juz became stronger i guess our bond.. I reali tink that this is wat is called friendship.. coz u can say anything to them.. laughters..LOTS of laughter.. haha.. juz enjoyment of each others company.. and we known each other for like 9 over years while i know Shansy for like 13 yrs… It is like u guys know everything abt each other.. our 1st bf.. haha.. the guys that waited for us in the canteen to go home wif after guides.. haha.. or the crushes we had.. and the nabei teavhers..some..well ya some reali..haha… and also gd times and bad…seriously we have shared them all..hahah.. Love u guys lots and lots… yes Ping i love u alot!!! haha.. all ur letters and msg always have i love u.. haha.. Love u girls..Sister Guides!!!
